17-7 PH AMS 5644 is a semi-austenitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance, good formability, and high strength. It is commonly supplied in the annealed condition with capability to harden to high strength levels by heat treating to Conditions RH 950 and TH 1050. 17-7PH provides exceptional mechanical properties at temperatures up to 900 °F.
