AerMet® 100 is an iron, cobalt and nickel enriched martensitic steel featuring ultra-high strength, exceptional hardness, and ductility properties. It is very well suited for applications which require both load-bearing capability and ballistic tolerance. With a superior stress corrosion cracking and fracture resistance, AerMet® 100 is an ideal alloy for many critical applications.
Bars normalized and overaged shall not have a hardness higher than 372 HB
