PH13-8Mo AMS 5629

PH13-8Mo AMS 5629 is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel that has excellent strength, high hardness, superior toughness, and good corrosion resistance.  It is double vacuum melted in a VIM-VAR process.  13-8 PH steel provides a wide range of properties through a single precipitation hardening heat treatment. Its corrosion resistance is similar to 304 stainless, with greatest resistance in the fully hardened conditions.
